As a responsible enterprise since its birth, H&H Group has promoted shared value through four core sustainable development impact areas over the past eight years – “enhance health awareness”, “reduce environmental footprint”, “support equitable development”, “Improve corporate governance.” In 2023, H&H Group will continue to deepen its shared value growth model, and is committed to achieving group-level B Corp certification by 2025, and working with stakeholders upstream and downstream of the entire industry chain to achieve multiple sustainable development results:

  Five entities of H&H Group (Mainland China, Australia and New Zealand, North America, France, and the United Kingdom) have obtained B Corp certification.As one of the most stringent certifications to evaluate a brand’s social and environmental impact and governance, B Corp is a key step towards the group’s goal of fully obtaining B Corp certification.

  Important climate action plan milestone reached.H&H Group has set greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets and obtained Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) approval, including covering all operating sites with renewable electricity and developing a comprehensive roadmap for emission reductions. In addition, two factories in mainland China have passed the Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon neutral certification of the PAS 2060 standard.

In 2023, the group invested more than US$29.2 million in research and development, a year-on-year increase of 30%. The group achieves 87%* products free of artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners and preservatives. The group has launched 365 products in the global market, bringing consumers a more diverse, innovative and sustainable product portfolio.

  Reducing environmental footprint supports the low-carbon transformation of the global economy

In 2023, the Group’s global business operations (including offices and factories) will be 100% powered by renewable energy. The Group is committed to playing a role in the transition to a net-zero emissions global economy, with both total carbon emissions and carbon emissions intensity achieving year-on-year declines. In addition, the group’s total global water consumption dropped by 5%, and the unit production water consumption of its own factories decreased by 7.2%; 1,397 tons of packaging materials were saved, and 95% of the packaging materials are recyclable, biodegradable or compostable.

In addition, H&H Group also established the “H&H Sustainable Development Exploration Space” in 2023, which aims to equip group team members with the knowledge and skills needed to cope with complex climate change through climate training.

2023 marks the tenth anniversary of the H&H Charity Fund.
