In 2023, the association successfully held its annual meeting for the first time and launched a high-quality drama recommendation activity, which received an overwhelming response. This year, the association continued to hold the annual meeting at the spring promotion meeting. Based on member suggestions and market feedback, the promotion activities were optimized and upgraded. Through data/invitation of member units and platform voting/expert review, a total of 46 works were recommended from nearly 300 works. This excellent work won five honors of the year: “Special Contribution Drama Series”, “Ingenious Drama Series of the Year”, “Quality Drama Series of the Year”, “Excellent Drama Series of the Year”, and “Short Drama Noteworthy of the Year”. It is worth mentioning that this annual meeting has recommended a new micro-short drama unit to keep up with new changes in industry creation.

During the spring promotion meeting, the third member representative conference of the China TV Drama Production Industry Association was successfully held. After a secret ballot, Hou Hongliang was elected as the new president, Zhao Yifang and Gong Yu were elected as executive vice presidents, and Su Xiao was elected as vice president and secretary-general.
