In Yuan Shanshan’s view, starring in “Surgery Live Room” is a kind of fate. “In the past few years, someone in my family has been seeing a doctor, and I have met many doctor friends. When a doctor character comes to me, I feel that it is a kind of fate. And I also like medical dramas, because ‘life and death battles’ will be staged in the hospital, so After reading the script, I wanted to try it.”
In the play, Yuan Shanshan plays Chang Yue, a pediatrician at Haicheng Hospital. A change from the bright character image in the past, this time she dressed simply, wearing a white coat most of the time, looking at everyone with gentle eyes. In her opinion, Chang Yue is a very emotionally stable person. No matter how big or small he encounters, he can deal with it very rationally and takes good care of every colleague and patient. He is like a bridge between doctors and patients. A bridge. However, Chang Yue looks gentle on the surface, but in fact he is stubborn at heart and will definitely accomplish whatever he sets his sights on.
This also made Yuan Shanshan see her own shadow in Chang Yue. “When an actor plays a role, he will definitely explore the commonalities between himself and the character. I am also a person with relatively stable emotions, but a stubborn heart.” Based on this, Yuan Shanshan is more comfortable in shaping the role, playing Chang Yue Well recognized by the audience.
As a pediatrician, you inevitably have to deal with children. However, in recent years, her pace has obviously slowed down. “Actually, I didn’t mean to slow down. It’s just that now, I no longer need to focus on quantitative accumulation like when I just graduated from college. Now, I want to play some of my favorite roles and work with more good production teams. I think it’s about finding a balance between life and work.”
In Yuan Shanshan’s view, there are many times in life when it is necessary to seek balance and keep both life and work in a comfortable state. “I filmed a lot in the past few years, but in recent years I hope to live more. When I reach a certain age, I will take on more family responsibilities and take care of my family. It is precisely because of these experiences in life that I Let me develop the character better.”
