This comparative test adopted the method of laboratory testing of electrical safety indicators, APP information security indicators and subjective experience evaluation, and conducted a comprehensive test and evaluation of 11 index items of 15 samples.

In the “Electrical Safety Index” test item, five samples of China Vision, Oxy Hunter, Small Value, Lei Weishi, and Rubik’s Cube Bird did not meet the relevant electrical safety index standards.

In the “marks and instructions” test item, three samples of China Vision, Oxygen Hunter, and Rubik’s Cube Bird did not meet the requirements of national standards.

In the test items of “electrical clearance, creepage distance and insulation penetration distance”, “electrical clearance” and “creepage distance”, three samples of China Vision, Oxygen Hunter and Leiweishi did not meet the requirements of national standards. In this comparative test, the APP information security indicators of 15 home camera samples were tested, referring to the recommended national standard GB/T35273-2020 “Information Security Technology Personal Information Security Specification”, targeting the “minimum necessary to collect personal information” and ” The two projects “Authorization and Consent when Collecting Personal Information” were tested and compared on iOS and Android systems respectively.

The test results show that there are common information security risks in the use of APPs of 15 home camera samples. In the APP information security test project, only the two samples of EZVIZ and Cube Bird meet the recommended national standard requirements; Haier, Puffin (Huawei), China Vision, Xiaomi, ZTE (ZTE), TP-LINK, etc. Some items of 12 samples do not meet the recommended national standards; all items of one sample “Lenovo” do not meet the recommended national standards.

In terms of subjective experience evaluation, 15 samples were tested by the testing agency to simulate indoor environments and use the same mainstream brand terminal equipment to restore home usage scenarios to the maximum extent under the same network conditions.
