Calligraphy and ink calligraphy conveying deep feelings of longing and pictures
To commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Deng Yingchao, our museum has specially held an exhibition to select some of the best works from the large collection of calligraphy and paintings for the audience. These works have different artistic forms and styles and are extremely beautiful. When ink meets Dürer
As an outstanding painter in Europe during the Renaissance, Albrecht Dürer has influenced future generations from generation to generation over the past few hundred years. Echoing Dürer is Xu Li, a contemporary Chinese ink painter, whose works combine the essence of traditional ink with modern concepts. This exhibition displays more than 60 prints and ink paintings by the famous Renaissance art master Albrecht Dürer and contemporary ink artist Xu Li.

The concept of harmony and unity
The exhibition selected more than 100 Tibetan Buddhist and Taoist gold and bronze statues, divided into two parts: Daoyuan Kongtong and Jinglong Buddhist Rhymes. The time spans from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, among which Buddhist statues account for the majority. The gold and bronze statues are exquisitely made, with different styles and rich connotations. The exhibition relatively completely outlines the historical context of the rise and development of Pingliang Buddhist and Taoist statues, and presents the casting techniques and artistic pursuits of gold and bronze statues in an overview.

Inheritance and evolution
The exhibition displays a total of 104 works by calligraphers from China, Japan and South Korea, including 25 works by Japanese calligraphers and 19 works by Korean calligraphers. The content of the creation is ancient and modern poems and famous sayings that praise natural mountains and rivers, and praise human civilization. The content keeps up with the characteristics of the times, fully reflecting the artists’ mission of unremitting exploration, courage to innovate, and promoting international cultural exchange and progress.
