On August 7, the signing ceremony of the global partners of the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services and the launching ceremony of the “Zero Carbon Service Trade” initiative were held at the National Convention Center. Capital Exhibition Group signed global partnership agreements with China Pacific Insurance and JD.com respectively. China Pacific Insurance and JD.com will serve as global partners of the CIFTIS for the fourth year, providing support and guarantees such as funds, technology, services and products for the CIFTIS.

At the signing ceremony, the Capital Exhibition Group, China Pacific Insurance and JD.com jointly launched the “Zero Carbon Service Trade” initiative to introduce a large-scale event “Carbon Neutral” project for the 2023 Service Trade Fair, helping to do a good job of “carbon peak, carbon neutrality work. On the one hand, this event will neutralize the greenhouse gas emissions generated by the 2023 Service Trade Fair through innovative solutions such as carbon assets, carbon credits and other purchases and carbon neutral insurance, and realize “zero carbon service trade” for the first time; on the other hand, through Released the “Zero-carbon service trade, shared by everyone” proposal, calling on all participants to support the goal of zero-carbon service trade through voluntary actions, and promote green and low-carbon lifestyles to the public. Gu Yue, chairman of CPIC P/C, said that the Service Trade Fair, as a national and international exhibition platform, has an important demonstration role in green and low-carbon transformation. Through the carbon-neutral action of the Service Trade Fair, building a green service trade brand will output typical experience and implementation paths for the sustainability management of large-scale events, and provide a demonstration sample for the carbon-neutral action of Beijing Convention and Exhibition.
