(Vera Central News) The Chicken Pot Charity Foundation established by the Chicken Pot Restaurant Group has distributed RM25,000 to four charitable organizations and educational groups for the first time since its establishment.

The beneficiary groups are Batu Kawan Kuang Yuk Primary School Construction Committee (RM10,000), Seberang Perai Yat Sin Rotary Dialysis Center (RM5,000), Seberang Perai Ram Dialysis Center (RM5,000) and St. Anna’s Dialysis Center in Bukit Mertajam Kidney Center (RM5,000).

At the ceremony, the founder of the charity foundation, Wu Guoyi, president Tu Yanhao and vice president Chen Shuilian, respectively handed over the above-mentioned charity funds to representatives of various societies to receive them, namely the treasurer Chen Shunfa and deputy treasurer Cai Qingwei of the Batu Kawan Guangyu Primary School Construction Committee. Datuk Dr. Tan Kah Keong, medical consultant of the Rotary Club of Seberang Perai Yasin Dialysis Center, Datuk Tan Jianbao, treasurer of the Seberang Perai Ram Dialysis Center, and Ng Ying Lun, chairman of the St. Anna Dialysis Center in Bukit Mertajam.

“Chipotle House Charity Foundation” was established by the two founders of Chicken Pot House Catering Group, Datuk Goh Kwok Feng and Goh Kwok Yi, with the corporate social responsibility (CSR) purpose of “taking from the society, using to the society” , allocate funds every three months to donate to dialysis centers and educational groups across the country.

Tu Yanhao, President of the Foundation, said in his speech that today everyone has witnessed a historic day, that is, with the efforts of all colleagues and the funding from the Board of Directors of Chicken Pot House, we have successfully stepped out of “Doing Good” the first step.

Regularly allocate 100,000 yuan every year

She pointed out that the Chicken Pot Enterprise Group, in line with the spirit of “taking from the society, using to the society”, regularly allocates RM100,000 in donations every year to dialysis centers and Chinese language schools in need across Malaysia. The association focuses on donating to private dialysis centers and Chinese school parent-teacher associations because the dialysis center is an institution that needs to operate funds for a long time, and the Chinese school parent-teacher association also has a long-term need to promote ethnic education.

These two institutions must operate for a long time after they are opened. The dialysis center cannot stop, because kidney patients must undergo dialysis three times a week. The activities of the Chinese School Parents Association cannot stop, because we Chinese firmly believe that “No matter how poor you are, you can’t stop.” Education for the Poor”.

In his speech, Datuk Dr. Tan Ka Keong, consultant of the association, praised Chicken Pot House as an enterprise that not only provides delicious food to gourmets across the country, but also does not forget charity and is admirable for its benevolence and virtue.
