(Penang News) The Penang Branch of the Malaysian Tourism Association (MATTA) held the election of new directors from 2023 to 2025 on March 21. Angel Travel Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer and second-generation helmsman Liang Meiqin was honored as the new chairman.

Prior to this, Liang Meiqin was elected as the director of the Malaysian Tourism Federation from 2019 to 2021, the vice chairman from 2021 to 2023, and the chairman of the 2022 Penang Malaysia International Tourism Exhibition Organizing Committee.
